How does the Rac N Roll performance bag work?

The Rac n Roll bag consists of a large duffel bag, exterior pockets, interior pockets, a pole bag consisting of two extendable side rods and a top bar, rolling wheels and a handle.

We suggest using the interior and exterior pockets to organize shoes and accessories so that they can be found quickly and they do not slide around the large inside compartment of the bag.

Inside of the duffle bag there are “D” shaped metal rings that help keep the costume hangers in place during travel.

In your Rac n Roll you will also receive a pole bag consisting of two extendable side rods and a top bar. These are used to form your rack. To do so insert your side rods into the brackets inside the bag, extend the side rods, then simply place your top bar on your extended side rods to form your rack. Make sure that all of the pieces are secure and you are ready to hang your costumes!

 

Which bags fits in the airline's overhead storage?

The Mini is sized at 23” x 14” x 10” and fits in (almost) any overhead bin.

We suggest checking with your airline to ensure the dimensions fit in overhead bin allowances. 

 

How many costumes fit on The Mini rack?

The MINI Rac n Roll can hold up to about 5 costumes.

 

How many costumes fit on a medium rack?

The MEDIUM Rac n Roll bag can hold up to about 10 costumes.

 

How many costumes fit on a large rack?

The LARGE Rac n Roll bag can hold up to about 20 costumes.

 

What is the size difference between the three bags?

The MEDIUM Rac n Roll bag measures L: 25 X W: 16.5 X H: 14 inches. Including wheels: L: 30 X W: 16.5 X H: 14 inches.

The height of the rack when set up is 50 inches

It weighs 14 lbs (including rods). HOLDS: 1-10 costumes/outfits

 

The LARGE Rac n Roll bag measures L: 30 X W: 16.5 X H: 14 inches. Including wheels: L: 34 X W: 16.5 X H: 14 inches.

The height of the rack when set up is 55 inches

It weighs 16 Lbs (including rods). HOLDS: 1-20 costumes/outfits.

 

The MINI Rac n Roll bag measures 20 X 14 X 10 inches

The height of the rack when set up is 47 inches

It weighs 12lbs (including rods) HOLDS: 1-5 costumes/outfits

How often do you update the product offerings?

We try to update our product and colour offerings once per year! Sign-up for our email newsletter to be alerted when new product assortments are launched. 

 

Are your bags water resistant? What is the lining?

All of our bags are high-quality 100% Polyester. Durable, easy to clean, and long-lasting. This also includes the inside lining of our bags.

Our bags are all 100% water resistant.

 

How should I care for my Rac n Roll product?

To ensure your dance bag stays looking fresh and clean, follow these simple steps before its first use:

• Scotchgard™ your bag to protect it against spills and stains.
• Make sure to treat your bag in a well-ventilated area.
• Hold the can 6 inches away and spray the bag evenly until the surface is slightly wet, without soaking.
• Allow the bag to dry completely for several hours or overnight before using it.

For ongoing care:

• Spot clean with a damp cloth & gentle dish soap as needed.
• Do not machine wash, steam or dry clean.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent color fading.

 

What if my Rac n Roll product is damaged upon receipt?

Please contact us right away at team@racnroll.com with your order number and photos of the damage. We will support you right away with resolving the issue and replacing the damaged product. 

 

Does my performance bag come with a pole bag?

Yes, all Rac n Roll bags come with a pole bag to store your poles when not in use. If a pole bag is misplaced, this can be purchased online. 

 

What accessories work with the Rac n Roll performance bag?

Rac n Roll Mirror

Rac n Roll is excited to offer a dual mirror! Mirrors at events and competitions are usually just as rare to find as changing space! This dual mirror attaches to the side of the rack to easily check your makeup and hair before going on stage. This comes in a great range of colours to match our bags and is the perfect addition to our product assortment.  

 

Rac n Roll Privacy Curtain

The Rac n Roll Privacy Curtain is perfect for when you need a little extra privacy for changing. Our two extending side rods make it easy to open and close as needed and the curtain itself just velcro's onto the rack creating a secure and low-maintenance space for your dancer to dress and undress in. Setting it up is a breeze! You won't believe how simple it is to get your own privacy curtain up and running! We offer our Privacy Curtain in the Carry-on, Medium, and Large size. Note the sizes will only fit with the corresponding bag sizes. If you have a Mini Bag you will need the Carry-on Curtain.

 

Rac n Roll LED Cosmetic Bag

The Rac n Roll LED Cosmetic bag features adjustable compartments to fit your makeup just how you want it, 3 LED lighting modes, (warm, natural and cold), makeup brush organizer and USB charger. The fabric is scratch and water resistant PU leather. This makeup bag is perfect for on-the-go and a favorite of our customers. 

 

Garment Bags and Hangers

Our garment bags are half-clear and half-woven, allowing your costumes to breathe as well as letting you see which costume you have inside. This amazing bag also features zippered pockets to store any accessories, shoes or tights for that costume. The front also has a name tag pocket. Put the dancer’s name, studio, and name of the dance in the name tag slot, so quick changes are made easy.

Rac n Roll Wooden Hangers are also available for purchase, featuring two silver clips perfect for hanging your costumes. These hangers are sold in a pack of 5 only. 

 

Rac n Roll Folding Stool

Rac n Roll's very own folding stool! This stool is the perfect accessory for competitions. Allowing you to sit comfortably while applying your makeup, fixing your hair, and even putting on your shoes.

The Rac n Roll Stool is lightweight and easy to use, never struggling to find a place to sit at competitions again!

Do you have replacement parts available?

Replacement parts are available. All replacement parts can be found on our website under Accessories > Replacement Parts.

The replacement parts we currently have available are;

• Rods (top and sides in both large and medium)
• Wheels (wheels are only available for bags with 4 x wheels)
